Agentic AI Platform Product Owner — Vice President

About the Role

We are seeking a senior  Agentic AI Platform Product Owner  to define and drive the enterprise product strategy for State Street’s GenAI and agentic AI platform. This leader will sit at the intersection of business, product, and technology, shaping platform direction, aligning priorities across business lines, and enabling scalable adoption across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in  enterprise platform product management,  AI/GenAI strategy,  governance, and  cross-functional leadership. This role requires a strong operator who can translate business needs into platform priorities, influence executive stakeholders, and lead product owners across multiple pods to deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the  enterprise product strategy  for the agentic AI platform across the full GenAI platform stack.
• Define and manage the  cross-platform prioritization model  and  governance framework, balancing enterprise objectives with business line priorities.
• Represent Product in  executive, strategic, and cross-functional governance forums.
• Drive the  platform adoption strategy, increasing usage and value realization across business lines including  Investment Services, Wealth, Alpha, and Global Markets.
• Build, mentor, and lead the  Product Owner leadership bench  across pods to ensure consistent execution and strong product management practices.
• Partner closely with  Architecture, Engineering, Data, and Knowledge Management  teams to shape and execute end-to-end platform strategy.
• Translate enterprise needs into clear product roadmaps, outcomes, and release priorities.
• Establish success metrics for adoption, platform usage, business value realization, and product performance.
• Champion agile pod execution and ensure alignment between roadmap goals, delivery plans, and stakeholder expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in  Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12–17 years  of experience in product management, including  5+ years in product leadership roles.
• Proven experience defining and driving  enterprise product strategy  for technology platforms, ideally within  AI, GenAI, or agentic AI ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of  agentic AI platform capabilities, governance requirements, risk considerations, and business value realization.
• Demonstrated success managing  senior executive stakeholders  and influencing decisions in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong knowledge of  product roadmap management,  PDLC,  agile delivery, and cross-functional operating models.
• Experience scaling  GenAI or agentic AI platform adoption  across multiple business lines or enterprise domains.
• Financial services or other  highly regulated industry  experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational alignment skills.
